I was already thinking about AI then. Not as a product pitch. As a long arc — where we would be in fifty years if machines kept the beat and people still had to think and meet each other. Code as craft, not only as throughput.

That thread runs further back. In 1994, in my hometown Bremen, I showed Joseph Weizenbaum around the city. ELIZA’s author. The man who warned early about what computers do to judgment. So many years before this wave began.

Looking at those lines again now — oh man. I was further ahead than I knew how to say.
